Story Three has a locked emotional destination: the moment memory stops being passive and begins shaping Rhett’s choices. The 60-second film, plus its 30- and 15-second cuts, are still being built. The rule is simple: every shorter version must preserve the challenge, the choice, and the payoff—not merely arrive faster.

THE CRAFT OF THE CUT
The first frame has to create a question. The middle must change the meaning of what we saw. The final image must pay off the attention. That is why each short cut gets its own edit, sound design, and rhythm instead of becoming leftovers from the long film.

THE STORY COMES FIRST
The films never turn Claire into a reward for Rhett’s honesty. He can notice, remember, and tell the truth; he cannot own the answer. Leaving that space intact makes his eventual hero moment feel earned—and keeps Claire fully human.
